One of the deadliest school disasters in the history of the United States, the Collinwood School fire of 1908 resulted in 172 deaths and prompted changes in school safety that resonated throughout the nation. For more than a dozen years Mary Louise Jesek Daley has been fascinated by the tragedy that struck Collinwood School in Cleveland. Join Ms. Daley at Solon Library Wednesday, July 29th from 7:00-8:00pm for a sobering look at what happened on that fateful day and how a nation in mourning addressed its horrendous outcome.
