DESCRIPTION:Join Penitentiary Glen Reservation’s Earth Day Celebration for all ages. Earth Day is a global celebration when humans unite and bring awareness to the issues facing Earth.\n\n\nEarth Day activities include:\n\n \n\n\n\nFREE event!\nEco-fair with local conservation organizations\nEarth Day Marketplace with locally made and fair-trade merchandise\nFREE tree for each family\nWildlife programs\nGames\, hands-on activities and crafts\nShop in The Nature Store\nMiniature train rides (1 to 3 pm\, weather permitting). NOTE: For safety reasons\, pregnant women are not permitted to ride the trains. All children must be able to sit in their own designated seat; lap sitting is not permitted.\n\nDonate to Habitat for Humanity at Earth Day\nThe Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity ReStore truck will be onsite during Earth Day to accept donations. Click here for a list of accepted items.\n\n\n 12-4 p.m.
