DESCRIPTION:A free\, family-friendly opportunity to visit Geauga Park District’s sugar house\, sugarbush and lodge to learn maple sugaring methods that have evolved from Native American tradition to modern methods:\n\n\n\nGather sap with a horse-drawn sap sled from 1 and 2 p.m.\nExperience the various methods used throughout history for tapping\, gathering and boiling sap from maple trees\nSee sap boiling in the sugar house and get a chance to taste some too\nFree maple stirs will be available in the lodge\nEnjoy popcorn and maple sugaring artifact viewing\nListen to live music by The Real Deal String Band on February 22\, The Pickle Milk String Band on March 1\, and Mr. Haney String Band on March 8\nPurchase award-winning maple syrup in the lodge\n\n12-4 p.m.
