The Solon Community Band along with the City of Solon will be hosting “🎶 Summer Sounds: Songs That Make You Sing and Dance! 🎶” This FREE performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Solon Bicentennial Park located at 34045 Bainbridge Road. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

This summer, join us for an unforgettable evening filled with the rhythms and melodies that have brought joy across generations. Our program features toe-tapping favorites, irresistible grooves, and classics that will have audience clapping, swaying, and smiling.
From pop hits and Motown classics to Broadway showstoppers and dance favorites, we celebrate the music that brings people together—across ages, backgrounds, and musical tastes. Whether you’re moved to hum along, bust a move, or just soak in the joyful atmosphere, this concert is designed to remind us all why music matters: because it brings joy, connection, and celebration. Come ready for a summer night full of fun, community, and great music!
Solon Community Band would like to thank our presenting partner the City of Solon as well as our community for your support. This summer season additional concerts will be held July 3rd at the Solon High School Commons Parking Lot, July 18th at Solon Bicentennial Park, and August 1st at Church of the Resurrection located at 32001 Cannon Rd.
Solon Community Band is directed by Laura Joss, veteran collegiate music educator and currently Director of Orchestras at Medina Highlands. The Solon Community Band partners with patrons and audiences through enriching and joyous musical contributions to the community.
Solon Community Band was founded in 2015. Currently there are over 65 members of all backgrounds and age groups ranging from teenagers to individuals in their 80’s.
