SUMMARY:Teens: Thanksgiving Around the World
DESCRIPTION:Teens explore international Thanksgiving-inspired dishes and cooking techniques. In this hands-on class for ages 12–17\, students travel to Canada\, China\, Africa and Australia to see how each celebrates the fall harvest through food. The menu includes Canadian poutine\, a Chinese five-spice chicken and squash stir-fry\, an Australian sweet potato and chickpea salad\, and South African malva pudding.\n\n\nSaturday\, Nov. 14\, 1–3 p.m. (about two hours). The cost is $65 per teen. Classes must be paid for in advance\, and a spot is not guaranteed until payment is received. The school will try to accommodate allergies if given advance notice.
