Event Navigation

The Smothers Brothers were pioneers in political satire. Shows like Saturday Night Live owe their success to Tom and Dick Smothers as they set the bar high for shows that confront the country’s direction and the day’s headlines. Presenter Bill Brauning takes a behind the scenes look at the rise and fall of the Smothers Brothers Monday, July 1st at 7:00pm at Solon Library. Brauning will share show excerpts highlighting undercurrent themes and the role censorship played. Registration is required for this event. To register, visit www.cuyahogalibrary.org or call the Library at 440.248.8777. The library is located at 34125 Portz Parkway.
