DESCRIPTION:Gym Champs 1 is a starting point for young athletes to explore gymnastics and develop the skills needed to grow and succeed. This beginner gymnastics class is designed to create a foundation in body control\, body awareness\, and fundamental gymnastics skill. Build strength\, flexibility\, and proper technique while learning beginner skills on vault\, uneven bars\, balance beam\, and floor.\n\n\nThe class focuses on helping students develop confidence and master core skills. Once skill milestones are met\, students can progress into the Gym Champs 2 program. Gym Champs 2 offers intermediate-level gymnastics training.\n\n \n\n\nSkills Focus:\n\n\n\nFloor: Rock and roll to standing\, forward and backward rolls\, lunge to kick\, handstands\, cartwheels\, bridges\, backbends\, straight jumps\, and chassés.\n\n\nBalance Beam: Mounts\, relevé and passé holds\, levers\, K kicks\, forward kicks\, pivot turns\, and straight jump dismounts.\n\n\nVault: Ladder drills\, high knees\, arm circle hurdles\, straight jumps\, and donkey kicks.\n\n\nUneven Bars: L holds\, chin-up holds\, candlestick holds\, front support holds\, below 45° casts\, kick overs\, and forward roll dismounts.\n\nAdditional Information:\n\n\n\nAnnual Registration Fee: $60 for the first child; $25 sibling registration fee. Valid for one calendar year.\nClass Frequency: Classes meet 1 time per week.\nDiscounts: 10% sibling discount and multi-class discount available.\nTrial Class: Free trial classes offered.\n\n Ages 6 and up. 6:20-7:20 p.m. $106
