Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Opiate and Heroin Abuse in Ohio

Opiate and heroin abuse and addiction are at alarming levels –  in Lake County and across Ohio.

There will be a free town-hall meeting presented by the Lake County ADAMHS Board, the Lake County Opiate Task Force, and Mentor Public Schools.

A panel of local experts (recovering addict, parent of an addict, youth addiction professional, and representatives from Juvenile Court, Mentor Police Dept., & Mentor High School) will share perspectives and information about resources.

The meeting will be on March 12, Thursday, 7 – 8:30 p.m. Mentor High School A-Lecture Hall Enter on south side of building, look for signs. Doors open at 6:30, program begins at 7.
