Editorial Guidelines
Northeast Ohio Parent magazine is the go-to resource for the parenting conversation. We bring local issues and stories to the readers, including topics on health, education, arts, home, community features and things to do. We do accept freelance writer queries or submissions. While we prefer local writers, we would consider others outside the region on a limited basis.
General Guidelines
We want stories to have sources with local connections to the community. It requires citing a minimum of three regional voices, whether it’s moms, experts, local business professionals, etc. Please read our publication before submitting a story or pitch. Word counts typically range from 500 to 1,200 words. Fees vary depending on length and type of story. We do not pay kill fees.
Rights
Our policy is to buy one-time exclusive print rights, along with electronic rights to allow stories to be placed on our website, northeastohioparent.com. We do consider reprinted articles outside our region.

Please submit your stories or queries to Editor Angela Gartner. We accept MS Word format or you may place your submission in the body of the email. Please include your name, address and phone number. We do not accept mail or fax submissions. We do respond to all inquiries by email or phone.
