A wise, thoughtful gardener, Ista, will lead audiences through an immersive exploration of her larger-than-life garden, full of plants native to Northeast Ohio. This sensory performance will feature ways to smell, touch, taste, hear, and see all of the wonders of our local ecosystem, as plants, bugs, and animals are brought to life.
This production is recommended for children ages 1-8.
This play will be presented in Talespinner’s home at 78th Street Studios. Ista and Her Garden is being written to incorporate audio description directly into the text of the play, welcoming audiences who are blind or have low vision to be fully immersed in the experience.
