Crocker Park’s 5th Annual Block Party Returns June 8 with Family Fun, Community Spirit, and Summer Vibes

As summer kicks off in Northeast Ohio, Crocker Park is once again transforming into a vibrant hub of family fun and community celebration. On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the beloved Crocker Park Block Party returns for its fifth year, promising a day packed with interactive activities, live entertainment, and local flavor—all for free.

A Morning Run for a Cause

The festivities begin at 9:30 AM with the Crocker Bark 3-Mile Run & 1-Mile Walk, presented by Elite K-911. Starting behind the Nike store at Crocker Park, this fun run supports the City of Westlake’s K9 Unit, combining fitness with philanthropy. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a morning stroll, it’s a great way to start the day and support a worthy cause.

A Festival of Discovery and Delight

From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Crocker Park will be buzzing with activity. The streets will be lined with attractions that turn the shopping center into a full-blown festival. One of the main draws is the Touch-A-Truck experience, where kids can climb aboard police cruisers, fire trucks, ambulances, and even SWAT vehicles. It’s a hands-on adventure that brings the community’s emergency services to life.

Throughout the day, guests can meet members of the Westlake Police and Fire Departments and enjoy K-9 demonstrations on the lawn at Market Square at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 1:30 PM. These action-packed showcases are always a crowd favorite, offering a glimpse into the incredible skills of these canine officers.

Entertainment for Every Age

The entertainment lineup is as diverse as it is exciting. Families can enjoy live musical and theatrical performances of that will make your afternoon a little Wicked at Crocker Park at noon and 1:30 PM, followed by meet-and-greets with the cast, sponsored by Ohio Basement Authority. For those looking to cool off, the Splash Pad, sponsored by Sweet Kiddles, offers a refreshing break near Crêpes in the City. Meanwhile, Checkers Park, presented by Julie Billiart Schools, invites guests to challenge friends and family to a friendly game of oversized checkers.

Visitors can also meet the Cleveland Ghostbusters and check out their iconic Ectomobile, get sparkly with hair tinsel at the Sephora table, or test their skills on a challenge course by Sylvan Learning. The Cleveland Metroparks Nature Center and Cleveland Museum of Art’s Studio Go van will also be on-site, offering interactive exhibits and merchandise.
