Friendship Circle of Cleveland creates a welcoming, inclusive community for children, teens, and adults with social needs and diverse abilities. Our summer camps welcome children and teens ages 5–18, and our year-round programs are open to individuals of all ages. Our programs are designed to build confidence, connection, and real friendships, while providing families with trusted, compassionate support.

Our Summer Camp offerings provide an engaging, social-skills–focused experiences. This summer, Friendship Circle of Cleveland offers multiple camp options designed to meet a wide range of needs and interests. Families can take advantage of an early bird discount for summer camps when registering by April 1.
Friendship Circle camps are especially supportive of children and teens with social needs. Campers can receive one-to-one support, pairing each participant with a trained teen “FriendMaker” who offers encouragement, companionship, and individualized attention throughout the day. This model allows campers to participate fully, feel secure, and build meaningful peer relationships at their own pace.

Our Social Skills Summer Camps (June and August) are peer-based programs that include music, art, movement, swimming, and twice-weekly field trips, all within a supportive and inclusive setting. We also offer Kulanu Camp, featuring some Jewish-themed activities along with science, field trips, and time to socialize with friends, with additional support options available as needed. For eligible families, Friendship Circle partners with the Beachwood School District to provide ESY services, integrating therapeutic supports alongside our social skills and camp programming.

Across all summer camps, participants enjoy hands-on activities, active outings, themed days, while building social confidence and making friends. Our trained staff and teen volunteers prioritize safety, flexibility, fun, and individualized care.
In addition to summer camp, Friendship Circle of Cleveland offers year-round programs including winter camps, after-school programs, social groups, and weekend activities. We strive to be a place where individuals with social needs are supported, friendships are formed, and everyone belongs and flourishes.
