Make Music Day is a day of music open to all in the streets, businesses, parks, and wherever people feel like playing or listening. Music centers and other organizations around the region are joining in the worldwide event to bring communities together in celebration of music and the countless benefits that making music brings.
For example, Royalton Music Center (located at 10167 Royalton Rd, North Royalton) opens its doors for free live performances in celebration of Make Music Day, a global event taking place in over 700 cities around the world. Children ages 0-6, along with parents, can take part in a free Kindermusik class – complete with instrument parade from 10-11am. Ukulele folk artist Guy Wright will perform in the store, as well as with the group ukulele class at RMC Tuesday evening from 6-8pm.
