Family FUNday: Day of the Dead

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with hands-on art activities, live dance performances, games and family fun. Presented with the Mexican Committee of Cleveland, this Family FUNday invites guests to learn the art and history of the holiday, hear from experts and those who celebrate it, and watch live dancers perform over an ephemeral sawdust carpet, or tapete.
Open Sunday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Community Arts Center. Admission is free and no ticket is required. The event is open to all ages and abilities. It also previews the Cleveland Día de Muertos Parade on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Gordon Square. Visit clevelandart.org for details.
