Weight Loss Surgery Seminars: 6 – 8 p.m., July 14 and August 25, at TriPoint Medical Center, 7590 Auburn Rd., Concord Twp.; and on July 28 and August 11at West Medical Center, 36000 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Have you tried traditional weight loss strategies without success? Are you over age 21 and 100 pounds or more overweight? Do you have a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or more? Do you have a BMI between 35 and 40 and suffer from Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems or sleep apnea? If you can answer “yes” to any of these questions, you may be a candidate for weight loss surgery. This Lunch and Learn program features a variety of topics dealing with seniors.
