Lindsey Geiss is a freelance writer and contributor to Northeast Ohio Parent and LiveSpecial. She previously served as a public relations senior account executive at a downtown Cleveland agency where she specialized in media relations and crisis preparedness. Parma-raised and a Baldwin-Wallace College alum, she now resides on the west side of Cleveland with her husband and young daughter and son. Lindsey is a recovering perfectionist navigating motherhood with a passion for food allergy and autism spectrum disorder advocacy. When she’s not writing about these and other lifestyle topics or volunteering at her children’s schools, she can be found shopping, wrapping the perfect gift or planning her family’s next one-tank trip. A longtime jump rope enthusiast, Lindsey carries the lessons from her competitive days in the sport with her into motherhood, including her love of travel and Northeast Ohio. In the way cardio builds strength and endurance, she hopes her stories also speak to the heart.
