In this unique Jr. Ranger Summer Camp series, your child will have exclusive opportunities to explore and learn about the national park that’s in their very own backyard! Here at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center, your camper can join us for one, or all three weeks of camp. They will be learning new topics and playing new games each week!

You will also receive a multi-camp discount code upon registration! The first week will be focused on exploring the Cuyahoga River, and what better time to do this than the 50th anniversary of the infamous river burning?! The second week of camp is all about learning to preserve and protect the national parks! And the final week is survivor camp, where your child can learn tips and tricks on the wilderness.

Your camper will spend their time at the CVEEC hiking in various ecosystems and understanding the important role that nature plays in their lives. They will work toward earning their official Cuyahoga Valley National Park Jr. Ranger badge at the closing ceremony on Friday. Families are encouraged to attend! Also, campers will receive a special patch if they attend all three weeks of camp!

Campers must be entering grades 1-6 in Fall 2019 (they will be divided into groups by grade level)

Made-from-scratch lunches and snacks are included each day of camp — yum! Dietary restrictions are accepted. More information upon registration.
