Reaching across 450 acres of wooded hills in the beautiful Hocking Hills of southeast Ohio, this vast natural setting invites campers to explore and enjoy God’s wilderness together and discover God’s close presence in their lives.
Most activities are experienced within a “family group” (12-16 campers) where counselors and campers spend the day together, joining other family groups during meals, morning and evening worship and evening all-camp activities. Adventure Campoffers all the favorite camp activities that you can handle with some exciting new additions.
Think you’ve done it all? New Adventure Trips await your arrival to join in on some awesome journeys to Rock Climb, Raft, Cave, Overnight Kayak, Extreme Creek Stomp, Mountain Bike and more. Take on daily local trips with Otterbein as your base camp or journey for a weeklong experience out of state.
Depending on the program and age, Camp Otterbein offers many exciting activities including the large inflatable water toys and NEW climbing wall on the lake, mud pit, archery, and the ever popular GaGa ball. Middle and high school campers might find themselves atop our high ropes course and zip line, kayaking on the Hocking River and “running the chute” in our NEW whitewater kayaks, rock climbing and rappelling, or taking on the trails by mountain bike.
