Reserve a magical summer for your child
As one of the nation’s top boarding schools, Western Reserve Academy extends our tradition of excellence to our Summer Programs. For kids as young as five, to those preparing for college, these individualized camps provide a taste of the unique experience that is Western Reserve Academy.
Experience a magical summer on the historic campus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio — 190 acres of lush green lawns, sprawling athletic fields and storied brick buildings. Here, campers have unlimited opportunities for friendships and personal growth in a warm and supportive setting.
WRA’s signature summer program, Adventure Camp, offers weekly sessions from June 11 to July 27. Kids aged 7 to 13 have the chance to spend an unforgettable week trying new things, meeting new people and having fun. In addition to traditional games and sports, campers enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, improv skits, cooking, fishing, coding, nature hikes, field trips and more.
Whether your child wants to learn a new sport or take their game to an elite level, WRA has some of the most gifted instructors to guide them. Sports include lacrosse, basketball, soccer, wrestling, football, tennis — and our very special Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls offers a fun introduction to a wide range of sports and games.
From culinary camps that season young chefs to fantasy camps that ignite their creativity, you’re sure to find a camp that lets your child’s imagination soar this summer at WRA.
Let your whiz kid flourish at one of WRA’s many tech-focused camps. Programs include opportunities to delve into the world of Lego® robotics, code video games — even camps that help young entrepreneurs launch their own start-up venture! Other camps offer young inventors guided, hands-on experience with high-tech building tools in The Wang Innovation Center, WRA’s state-of-the-art makerspace.
Give your child a competitive edge in their studies and standardized tests with one of a variety of academic programs. Get a leg up before middle school or prepare for college tests and applications. Some of WRA’s top instructors provide challenging and engaging, personal instruction.
Whatever you’re looking for — half-day, full-day or boarding experience — you’ll find it here. Our schedule runs from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with breakfast and lunch in WRA’s Dining Hall. For parents, this full-day summer schedule is convenient. For kids, it’s unforgettable.
