Homeschool Family Day
Special admission rates and unique experiences designed for homeschoolers. Meet aquatic day dwellers and night explorers. Discover their unique hunting tricks, hide and survive – morning, noon or night. Stop in for an educator-led activity between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the classroom. There will be a scavenger hunt available all day. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Explore Lake “Eerie” and the deep “BOO” sea. during our afterhours celebration. Aquarium access, activity booklet, underwater jack-o’-lanterns, scuba diver interactions, Halloween-themed décor and music, appearances by the friendly landshark Finn and a pumpkin craft. Enjoy a scavenger hunt through the galleries, using themed activity sheets designed for students of all ages. from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Visit the educator-led stations for hands-on learning from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The theme is Chill Out: How Animals Survive Winter Learn about animal species that migrate, hibernate and stay awake to survive the winter. Middle School Career Day at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium
An exciting, hands-on introduction to the fascinating jobs around an aquarium. Students will meet marine educators, aquarists, divers and animal care experts. They will also find out what it’s like to work with ocean animals on a daily basis. Students will explore different aquarium careers and imagine themselves in those careers. Middle school students will have the opportunity to feed stingrays, tour the animal food prep kitchen, interview members of the Aquarium dive team, and try out daily Aquarium staff…
