Discover timeless treasures at Historic Zoar Village’s Antiques and Artisan Show, considered to be one of Ohio’s fastest-growing antique shows in terms of attendance. The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) will perform a traditional D.C.-style Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. American Heritage Timeline – America 250
Come meet American soldiers spanning across several pivotal wars, notable people from the Revolutionary War, and key signers of the Declaration of Independence at Fort Laurens, Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort. Zoar and the Presidents
Learn and meet U.S. Presidents and other key historical figures who were active during Zoar’s era as a communal settlement from 1817 to 1898. Enjoy interactive demonstrations, Presidential speeches, and other activities alongside Zoar’s general museum tours and exhibits. Archaeology School Day
Students can celebrate National Archaeology Month at Fort Laurens’ Fall School Day! This event is open to public, private, and homeschooled students of all ages. All activities meet Ohio educational standards. Cost is $7 per student. Admission is free for one adult per group, with additional adult tickets priced at $7 each. Registration is required. Looking for a frightful way to spend your evening? Travel through the 200+ year-old town of Zoar and listen by lantern light as guides tell the haunted tales involving Historic Zoar Village, including supernatural encounters shared by staff, visitors, and residents of Zoar. The tours are one hour long with free refreshments available in the Zoar Store after each tour. This event is recommended for adults and children over the age of 12. Tickets cost $19 per person. 6:30-8:30 p.m.
