Enchanted Forest
Meet costumed volunteers such as Caterpillar, Raccoon, Salamander, and Opossum while being guided by a quiet “Firefly” along a jack-o-lantern lined trail. These nocturnal characters sing, tell jokes and share stories of life in the woodlands and teach about the interconnectedness and importance of nocturnal species. Afterwards, stop by TWC’s Observatory and view the night sky through a powerful telescope. Toast marshmallows over a fire and enjoy some delicious s’mores. Try feeding the chickadees and walk the trail for a self-guided game of Eye Spy. Afterward, stop inside the nature center for a hot chocolate bar, warm up and create a simple winter craft. Depending on the weather, snowshoes may be available for loan. 12-3 p.m.

Bundle up and head outside to sit on Santa’s ice throne. Also, check out some of northeast Ohio’s best ice carvers in action. There will be plenty of photo opportunities.
