A Most Excellent Race is the Achievement Centers for Children’s 36th Annual Race at Camp Cheerful in Strongsville! New for 2026: If not registered by June 9, 2026 a shirt can not be guaranteed. A theater environment tailored to attendees with sensory processing challenges and their families. Lower levels of movie sound, theater lights remaining on, dietary sensitive offerings, trained staff and family restrooms. $2 per person, tickets available online and at the box office starting at 6 p.m. the day of the show. Growing and Grounded
Learn grounding skills through expressive arts, gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, and learn how to navigate challenges. Classes are facilitated by a licensed therapist. Participants will experience connection to self and others while exploring shared feelings, events, and circumstances. Children faced with challenges, including anxiety, inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and/or difficulty connecting with others, will benefit from this group. No previous arts experience needed. Ages 7-11.

A beginner-level kayak program focusing on entry- level kayaking skills, safety and lake exploration. At least one parent or caregiver must attend per family.
