Boo at the Akron Zoo
Put on your costume, grab a candy bag and head to the zoo. Visit themed areas across the zoo and enjoy classic fall games, character meet and greets, a mini corn maze, warm seasonal snacks and beverages, trick-or-treating and more. Themed areas include: Pumpkin Alley The Monster Mash Witch's Lair Oktoberfest (for the adults) Halloween Town Enchanted Candy Trail (trick-or-treating!) presented by Acme Fresh Market Autumn Adventure Halloween Harvest This event is perfect for all ages. 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Enjoy the festival with marshmallow roasting, food trucks, wagon rides, crafts, and garden games. Check out the Spooky Science Lab to discover how weird and wild plants can be and get tickets for family-friendly mini tram tours to see the Skeleton Grove exhibit. A free, family-friendly Spooky Pooch Parade along Madison Avenue and surrounding streets. An awards presentation to the best dressed dogs and their owners will take place. This community festival provides a tail-wagging good time for canine and human guests alike. Enjoy entertainment, pumpkin painting for kids, and dog-related vendors and local businesses. The Festival includes the opportunity to enjoy Wagon Rides, explore a 5 acre Corn Maze, play an assortment of games including Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Giant Four Across, Checkers with mini pumpkins, and the nine hole course of Foot Golf.
