Learn grounding skills through expressive arts, gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, and learn how to navigate challenges. Classes are facilitated by a licensed therapist. Participants will experience connection to self and others while exploring shared feelings, events, and circumstances. Children faced with challenges, including anxiety, inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and/or difficulty connecting with others, will benefit from this group. No previous arts experience needed. Ages 7-11.

Enjoy a short program on seed saving followed by a seed swap. These can be seeds harvested from plants grown at home or extra seeds leftover from packets. Seeds must be labeled with variety name and packed in small quantities. Vegetables, herbs, and native plants preferred, but all seeds welcome! All are welcome. Through 10/1. 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Safetyville is sponsored by the Police Department and will educate children on various safety topics. Children learn about traffic, school buses, stranger danger, 911, and fire safety. Children entering kindergarten receive lessons inside a classroom and then practice these lessons outside within a realistic miniature village. Enjoy the 40th hot air balloon festival of Coshocton County. Food vendors, kiddie rides, craft booths, musical entertainment, children’s activities, fireworks, night glow, and hot air balloon launches will be part of this free event thanks to generous sponsors and friends.
