Mini Majorettes
Students ages 7-12 will learn baton terminology and basic twirling skills while developing hand-eye coordination. The class will focus on twirls, rolls and tosses using proper form and technique. Please bring a baton and water bottle. No class Sept 16. Classes are located on the MCRC Racquetball Court. Imaginative, hands-on spaces are for families and children birth to age 5. Play is developmentally appropriate for children and resilience is supported by the community. FamilySpace nurtures both adults and children and provides a variety of materials and opportunities for caregivers to help children explore and learn social skills, counting, sorting, matching, and more. Staff will offer caregivers concrete support and resources. 10:30-12:30.

Enjoy a short program on seed saving followed by a seed swap. These can be seeds harvested from plants grown at home or extra seeds leftover from packets. Seeds must be labeled with variety name and packed in small quantities. Vegetables, herbs, and native plants preferred, but all seeds welcome! All are welcome. Through 10/1. 3:30-4:30 p.m.
