Presented by Canalway Partners, Cleveland History Days is an annual celebration of Cleveland’s heritage. Starting June 18 through 28, explorers are invited to immerse themselves in the captivating stories that shaped the city at 75 specials events throughout the city including guided walking tours, lectures, panel discussions, and open houses. In addition to showcasing Cleveland’s cultural institutions, museums, and preservation organizations, this year’s event celebrates America 250 with a community picnic on June 27. Learn grounding skills through expressive arts, gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, and learn how to navigate challenges. Classes are facilitated by a licensed therapist. Participants will experience connection to self and others while exploring shared feelings, events, and circumstances. Children faced with challenges, including anxiety, inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and/or difficulty connecting with others, will benefit from this group. No previous arts experience needed. Ages 7-11.
