Christmas in July is a family friendly event. Guests will enjoy large inflatables throughout the zoo, nine-hole mini golf, music from a live DJ and a water play area featuring squirt guns, reusable water balloons and the zoo’s misters.
Santa and the Grinch will be on-site for photos. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their favorite ugly sweater to enter the ugly sweater contest for prizes.
The Akron Zoo is hosting this new event on Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are available at akronzoo.org/Christmas-july. Akron Zoo members are $25 for adults and $10 for children. Non-members are $30 for adults and $15 for children. Infants under two are free.
