Girls in front of schoolA private, all-girls, Catholic school located in Cleveland Heights accredited by the Ohio Department of Education, the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. It is a part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.

Beaumont encourages a young woman to assume the challenges of striving for academic excellence, exercising leadership potential, and living Christian community. The Ursuline philosophy of education, rooted in Jesus Christ and inspired by the spirit of St. Angela Merici, is directed toward the formation of the contemporary Christian woman. They believe this can best be accomplished in a single sex, culturally diverse atmosphere where a young woman can develop the self- esteem and leadership qualities she needs to balance the demanding personal, professional, civic and religious responsibilities facing her in an ever-changing world. They define their educational mission within the framework of a supportive learning environment where they aim to personalize their ministry of education so that their teaching skills are suited to the needs of each student. They also emphasize the development of creative and critical thinking skills so that each student has many opportunities to actualize her intellectual, spiritual, aesthetic, social and athletic abilities. They support a critique of societal standards based on the values of the Gospel.
