My family went on a trip to Walt Disney World last month. It was magical and exciting and fun and exhausting, all at once.
When we returned, it got me thinking about how you can enjoy a lot of the same types of Disney experiences right here in Cleveland. In fact, I think this area might be my Disney World!
Sure, Disney World has the brand new Toy Story Land, which is bright and colorful and filled with lots of fun…
…but Cleveland has Sweeties Big Fun, with tons of nostalgic sweets and toys to enjoy.
Sure, Disney World has Epcot, with its many countries of the world to explore…
…but Cleveland has Little Italy, Asiatown, and Polish Village filled with cultural wonders (and great eats).
Sure, Disney World has Cinderella’s Carousel…
…but Cleveland has the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel at the Cleveland History Center.
Sure, Disney World has lots of rides and attractions themed on movies…
…but Cleveland has our own little piece of movie magic at A Christmas Story House.
Sure, Disney World has incredible fireworks displays and grand parades…
…but Cleveland has gorgeous Fourth of July fireworks over Lake Erie and a St. Patrick’s Day parade that rivals any in the country.
Sure, Disney World has Cinderella’s Castle shining bright…
…but Cleveland has the world’s largest outdoor chandelier at Playhouse Square.
So, the next time you’re looking for a little magic, you can find a dash of pixie dust closer to home than you could even imagine.
From Cleveland That I Love,
Jen
