In this season of gratitude, I find myself pausing to give thanks for living, loving, and raising my family in Cleveland. It seems such a simple thing, really. We might not even think about it: to give thanks for the place we call home.
We’re lucky to live here and I wanted to share why I’m so grateful to be raising my child in Cleveland:
The Culture
From Playhouse Square to University Circle, we have amazing opportunities to share culture with our children. From world-class museums to a renowned orchestra to a theater district that can command the best of the best in performances, there is no shortage of culture for which to be grateful.
The Parks
You can see amazing animals, take a hike, or relax by Lake Erie. Whether it’s the Cleveland Metroparks or the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, you and your children can breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature all year long!
The Sports
Professional sports, minor league teams, every price point, and almost every sport are represented in Cleveland. You can have a fun family outing and maybe even spark a lifelong interest.
The People
While I’m certainly grateful to be close to my own family, that’s not what I mean by the people. The people who live in Cleveland are real, honest, salt-of-the-earth, kind people. And I couldn’t be more grateful to raise my child surrounded by them.
For what are you most grateful in Cleveland? Whatever that might be, give thanks, support those institutions, and have an incredible Thanksgiving!
From Cleveland that I love,
Jen
