What Surprised Me About the IEP Process

We recently went through the process of getting an Individualized Education Program for one of our sons. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom I was a teacher so I had been in IEP meetings before but having this experience from the parental perspective was new to me and it gave me a new perspective.
