Help name Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s tiger cubs!

To participate in the naming opportunity, guests can cast a vote online at FutureForWildlife.org/tigernaming. The names pay homage to Amur tigers’ native regions in Russia. Each donation will help combat illegal wildlife trade, which has threatened the species towards extinction. Voting ends Feb. 24

The two Amur tiger cubs, a male and female, are the first tigers born in Cleveland in 20 years. The cubs were born overnight between Dec. 24 and 25, and are being hand-reared by a special team of Animal Care experts behind-the-scenes at the Zoo’s Sarah Allison Steffee Center for Zoological Medicine.

  1. I like the name Natalia. It’s my daughters name. It also means Christmas Day. Depending on the way you spell it, it could also have Russian origins. I’d love if they’d consider that name. But I’m a fan of Anya as well!
