Meet Iris, Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Newest Animal Ambassador

Have you caught wind of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History‘s newest animal ambassador? Watch this video for an introduction to Iris, the striped skunk. Iris joined the museum’s male skunks, Marvin and Stanley, in the fall of 2022.

Striped skunks are found in North America, and chances are you’ve seen — or smelled — one here in Northeast Ohio. Watch the video to learn more about what they eat, how they protect themselves from predators, and how their creature features help them in their environment.
