Education Alternatives provides academic and therapeutic support to hundreds of children and families in nine sites throughout Northeast Ohio.
EA uses a trauma-informed approach and incorporate the ACE scores of each child into their individualized plan. Children receive both group therapy and academics and may also access individual counseling, behavior supports, and psychiatry. REACH Behavioral Health provides the therapeutic services in each Education Alternatives site and the two agencies work seamlessly together to provide the education and mental health our students need.
Education Alternatives also provides additional alternative programs for students in its 9 sites. These include ECHO which is an academic-only credit recovery program, Coral, which provides services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and is directed by our staff who is BCBA, and Vision Quest, which provides services to students through age 22 years and focuses on job training. In its 20th year, Education Alternatives continues to be a leader in developing and providing programs for children to help them learn, grow and heal in a safe and therapeutic environment.
