Holden Forests & Gardens offers nature-focused summer camps that blend outdoor adventure with hands-on learning. Camps are age-specific and designed to keep kids active, curious, and engaged all summer long at both Cleveland Botanical Garden and Holden Arboretum.

Cleveland Botanical Garden Camps

Little Naturalists (ages 4–6)
A 3-day, half-day camp where young campers explore nature using real tools like magnifying glasses and binoculars through play, crafts, and discovery.

Little Explorers (ages 4–6)
A 3-day, half-day camp that introduces plants and animals through sensory play, stories, games, and art in a supportive garden setting.

Botany Buddies (ages 7–9)
A 5-day, full-day science camp featuring field journals, experiments, pollination play, wetlands exploration, and a visit to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Plant Pioneers (ages 7–9)
A 5-day, full-day camp exploring how humans have used plants throughout history, with hands-on activities and a visit to the Western Reserve Historical Society.

Natural Artists (ages 7–9)
A 5-day, full-day art-focused camp using natural materials to create journals, sculptures, prints, and a collaborative mural, plus a visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Tiny Trailblazers (ages 4–6)
3-day, half-day nature camps that introduce preschoolers to outdoor exploration through sensory play and hands-on discovery.

A 5-day, full-day camp where campers investigate nature’s “superpowers” through experiments, exploration, and creative challenges.

A 5-day, full-day camp where campers collect real scientific data while studying birds, insects, water, plants, and ecosystems across the arboretum.
