For more than 300 families each year who have children with language-based learning differences and attention deficits, the environment needed to help them thrive is Lawrence School.
Lawrence understands that children learn differently. And so they teach differently – adapting the learning environment to suit the needs of students instead of the other way around. Features of its distinctive program include research-based methodology, personalized and multi-sensory instruction, small class sizes, and assistive technology that is fully integrated across both campuses.
Lawrence students come from more than 80 communities in Northeast Ohio and beyond. The school specializes in training students who are average or above average in intelligence but who struggle with language-based learning differences and who have challenges focusing attention.
