Valley City Frog Jump Festival
VALLEY CITY IS THE FROG JUMP CAPITAL OF OHIO! The Frog Jump Festival is a fun-filled day for all. The aim is to ensure that kids, parents, and grandparents leave happy! Make memories with family and friends on these special homeschool days. Groups can participate in educational activities until 1:30 p.m., and the last hayride and check in for Homeschool Day ends at 1:30 p.m., but all other 50+ farm activities will remain open until 7 p.m. No registration or minimum group size required, but some form of documentation, such as a copy of the acknowledgment letter from the school superintendent or any document showing membership of a homeschool association. Anyone can support Beech Creek by donating just $10 to release their own butterfly at the event. Tickets will be $13-15 if purchased the day of the release. Admission to the Gardens is not included. Butterfly releases will be at 12 and 2 p.m. Event days will start at 10 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.
