Special admission rates and unique experiences designed for homeschoolers. Meet aquatic day dwellers and night explorers. Discover their unique hunting tricks, hide and survive – morning, noon or night. Stop in for an educator-led activity between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the classroom. There will be a scavenger hunt available all day. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

A free, family-friendly Spooky Pooch Parade along Madison Avenue and surrounding streets. An awards presentation to the best dressed dogs and their owners will take place. This community festival provides a tail-wagging good time for canine and human guests alike. Enjoy entertainment, pumpkin painting for kids, and dog-related vendors and local businesses. Family-friendly after-hours Halloween celebration. Walk the Zoo’s decorated paths, enjoy Halloween-themed experiences, the Boomerang train, Trick-or-treat at more than a dozen candy stations, meet with costumed characters, and dance the Monster Mash Dance Party. Buckeye Alpaca Fall Fest
Come see these amazing animals compete for Champion Status. The Buckeye Alpaca Show, Inc., is a 501c3 Public Charity and funds raised from this show will be used for programs at The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, such as the Buckeye Large Animal Veterinary Scholarship Fund, International Camelid Veterinary Conference and Owner/Breeder Veterinary Conference. Over the past 20 years Buckeye has donated over $500,000 to programs at The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. 9 a.m.
