Witness many traditional harvest activities and discover how apple butter and cider are made. Tour the “Johnny Appleseed Trail.” Learn about bees and their role in pollination. Also, learn how honey is harvested, pollinator-friendly plants and how bees contribute to many products that we use daily. Explore a three-acre corn maze and enjoy harvest activities including apple-themed crafts both days. Regular Farmpark admission or membership applies. Pets are not permitted into Lake Metroparks Farmpark. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Pumpkins, hayrides, and falling leaves. Various memories and traditions associated with this season are alive and well at Heritage Farms during this annual celebration. Scavenger challenge, Harvest Maze and a relaxing hayride touring around the Christmas tree farm. A good selection of pumpkins of all sizes, a variety of gourds, corn stalks and straw bales as well. Please leave pets at home. Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Monday Thru Friday 2-6 p.m.

Pumpkin Days at Nickajack Farms
A fun-filled fall event for all ages with over 50 activities, including wagon rides, a sunflower field, a corn maze, playsets, gourd golf, a corn crib, a kid’s construction zone, a pedal cart racetrack, farmyard animals, baby animals, a spider web, rascals rollers, and more. Some new activities this year are the basketball shootout, photo trail, toddler town, connect four, bubble station, racing pigs, and tractor pull. The admission fee is $17 per person.
