Gears and Gadgets: Children’s Studio
Artists engage with the museum’s collection while building idea-generation and critical-thinking skills. Explore galleries, materials, and creative prompts for four weeks, with new themes explored each month. Explore the connections between creativity and discovery, inspired by decorative artworks, design daring contraptions and craft whimsical kinetic sculptures that blend art and invention. 9/6-27. Ages 5-10. $120 for members and $140 for non-members. 10-11:30 a.m.

On the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, Children ages 5-11 can discover the wonder of S.T.E.A.M. and each week brings new activities. The Museum is a safe place for children to learn through play and exploration. During a museum visit, visitors are able to interact with over 25 exhibits. Many of these exhibits are specifically designed for children and families to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and mathematics learning activities. 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
