Fort Laurens Homeschool Day
Come to Fort Laurens and learn about life on the frontier during Homeschool Day. Students between fourth and eighth grade will learn more about the Revolutionary War and how early American settlers lived. There will be many interactive stations and demonstrations that cover Revolutionary War history, local Ohio history, archaeology and more! Fort Laurens Revolutionary War Reenactment
Come to Fort Laurens, the site of Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort, for their annual Revolutionary War reenactment on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Watch a mock skirmish for American Independence with volunteer reenactors from the Brigade of the American Revolution. Learn about 18th-century life from a variety of different demonstrations including music, artillery, cooking, medicine and discussions with Colonial and British soldier reenactors. Fort Laurens Annual March-In
Come to Fort Laurens and celebrate the anniversary of the Continental Army’s arrival to the site of Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort. Reenactors in period dress will march into the site of Fort Laurens just as the Continental forces did in 1778.
