A private sensory friendly room for respite / sensory breaks, 8 hands-on exhibits for children to learn through play, explore, and create. This is a special program for families with children with sensory processing disorders and other special needs. CMC provides special access to the Museum for families who prefer a less crowded and lower-stimulation environment. This program brings families together to learn through play in a unique, supportive environment. Guests may bring adaptive equipment of their choice. Noise-reducing headphones…

On the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, Children ages 5-11 can discover the wonder of S.T.E.A.M. and each week brings new activities. The Museum is a safe place for children to learn through play and exploration. During a museum visit, visitors are able to interact with over 25 exhibits. Many of these exhibits are specifically designed for children and families to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and mathematics learning activities. 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
