Holiday Ice & Lights Festival
Bundle up and head outside to sit on Santa’s ice throne. Also, check out some of northeast Ohio’s best ice carvers in action. There will be plenty of photo opportunities. Each evening, enjoy a wagon ride through the Farmpark’s classic light displays. Visit the Well Bred Shed and the arena where Farmpark staff and volunteers have created a holiday-themed equine show. Once a month, children can enjoy new, seasonal, themes full of outdoor exploration and play. This is a drop-off program for children ages 3.5-5. 8:30-10:30 a.m.

Guests can watch artists create cool ice sculptures and warm up at fire pits along the Vermilion River. Have fun roasting S'mores, visit with sled dogs and ‘Frozen’ characters, learn about winter fun activities, and ride on the Little Green Choo train. There will also be Naturalist-led scenic snowshoe hikes as well as a variety of food trucks. Admission is $5.00 per person and registration is REQUIRED. Zoar Towpath Trail History Tours– America 250
Walk the scenic Ohio and Erie Towpath Trail between Zoar and Fort Laurens, Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort, while exploring the rich history of the Ohio & Erie Canal. This guided tour highlights the canal’s vital role in the growth of Zoar, a thriving communal village. Learn how the canal shaped commerce, travel, and daily life in the 19th century, and discover the stories that connect these historic landmarks along this peaceful stretch of trail. 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
