Join us for a beach cleanup to help keep debris out of our waterways. We’ll meet at Greater Cleveland Aquarium and walk to Wendy Park to pick up litter. All ages are welcomed, but please dress for the weather and be prepared for a 2.5-mile walk (roundtrip). Presented in partnership with Splash Fund of Greater Cleveland Aquarium, Alliance for the Great Lakes , Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and Great Lakes Educators of Aquatic and Marine Science.

Join an Aquarium Educator on an Urban Bird Walk. We’ll find as many birds as possible and contribute to citizen science as we log the data in real-time using the eBird app. Compare bird species in the industrial flats to lakefront property at Metroparks’ Wendy Park. We’ll provide binoculars and a guide to common birds in the area. Please dress for the weather, this event takes place outside. Recommended for ages 8 and older.
