Spooky Science returns to Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve October 9–10 and 16–17 from 5–9 p.m., bringing four nights of family-friendly Halloween fun, hands-on science, dinosaurs, creepy crawlers, live animals and more. Families can fish for rainbow trout and catfish that have been stocked all along the Ohio & Erie Canal. Families can park at the CanalWay Center lot off E. 49th St. and walk the paved trail. Enjoy exploration stations, bait-digging, casting practice, and loaner fishing poles Prizes: Food: Important Rules Anyone age 16 and older must have an Ohio fishing license Participants are encouraged to bring a rod, tackle, and a cooler with ice. The Wilderness Center will be transformed into The Enchanted Forest. Meet costumed volunteers such as black bear, dirt, luna, moth, and slug along the pumpkin-lit trails.
