Zoar and the Presidents School Day
Learn and meet U.S. Presidents and other key historical figures who were active during Zoar’s era as a communal settlement from 1817 to 1898 at Historic Zoar Village’s award-winning Zoar and the Presidents School Day. Presidential speeches, activities, and games will be held throughout the village along with a voting station, general museum tours, and interactive demonstrations. Archaeology School Day
Students can celebrate National Archaeology Month at Fort Laurens’ Fall School Day! This event is open to public, private, and homeschooled students of all ages. All activities meet Ohio educational standards. Cost is $7 per student. Admission is free for one adult per group, with additional adult tickets priced at $7 each. Registration is required. Looking for a frightful way to spend your evening? Travel through the 200+ year-old town of Zoar and listen by lantern light as guides tell the haunted tales involving Historic Zoar Village, including supernatural encounters shared by staff, visitors, and residents of Zoar. The tours are one hour long with free refreshments available in the Zoar Store after each tour. This event is recommended for adults and children over the age of 12. Annual March-In
Come to Fort Laurens and celebrate the anniversary of the Continental Army's arrival at the site of Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort.
