Lake Health Taking Back Unwanted Prescription Drugs

On Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. -2 p.m., Lake Health, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Lake County Narcotics Agency, Lake County General Health District, Lake County Sheriff’s Department and the Willoughby Police Department, will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

Medications can be brought for disposal to West Medical Center, 36000 Euclid Ave., Willoughby; or TriPoint Medical Center, 7590 Auburn Road, Concord Township.

Needles and syringes are not accepted. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
