U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Hospitals rankings have named several Northeast Ohio hospitals the honor of being amongst the top medical facilities in the United States.
The annual U.S. News Best Hospital rankings have recognized the best of the best for 25 years now. Each hospital that receives this honor illustrates their ability to treat patients with the most complex of medical conditions.
Summa Health System has been recognized as one of the top-performing hospitals in the specialties of endocrinology (diabetes care) and gastroenterology.
University Hospitals Case Medical Center was ranked in all 12 methodology-ranked specialties for the third year in a row and in the Top 20 in four specialties – Cancer, Gastroenterology, Ear, Nose & Throat, and Orthopaedics.
The Cleveland Clinic tops the rankings in cardiology and heart surgery, as well as urology and has been ranked the number one hospital in Ohio.
