The Akron Civic Theatre’s Club @ The Civic will present the album release party of “Prime” for The Help on Friday, September 19 at 8 p.m. Joining the fun will be Rebekah Jean, Nick Wilkinson & The Featured Players along with comedian/MC Willis Gordon.
The Help –Harmonics come together with the “rag-tag, nitty-gritty, down and dirty duo, “The Help,” Brian “Mr. Book” Feltner and Steve “The Saint” Bennett perform with a variety of instruments and combine Balkan-Gypsy/Klezmer flavor with Blues and Folk. Join this dynamic duo as they release their second album, “Prime”.
Rebekah Jean is a smooth and powerful voice. After two years of touring in the David Mayfield Parade, Rebekah Jean is back singing and penning more songs for her next release.
Nick Wilkinson and the Featured Players –Ohio-born songwriter Nick Wilkinson draws from his rural upbringing to deliver unapologetically on wanderlust and love. His live shows have quickly gained a reputation for the enthusiasm and drama on stage.
The show’s Emcee for the evening will be comedian, Willis Gordon.
