Mentor Public Library received some magical assistance during a special story time on Friday, June 25, at its Read House.
Children dusted off their finest tiaras and wings for a visit from fairies Brzzt and Ivy Greenbriar.
The fairies then helped the kids with a special scavenger hunt in which they searched the Read House yard for clues to the ingredients of Fairy Soup. (That’s a soup for fairies, not made of fairies, by the way.)
Once the kids figured out all of the ingredients, they made a special batch of Fairy Soup.
They also practiced casting spells and made wish boxes in which they can keep their wishes.
